Dr. Bell was born in Las Vegas, NV and eventually grew up in Springfield, MO where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Missouri State University. His medical degree was completed in Columbia, MO at University of Missouri where upon completion he was awarded the Scott A. Willis Memorial scholarship in Neurology. He then relocated to Gainesville, FL for his internal medicine training and neurology residency at the University of Florida.
As a founding partner of the Central Neurology practice, he has been committed to both office-based as well as hospital care for his patients and the community. Dr. Bell has over 20 years of experience and enjoys all aspects of neurology with special interest in managing stroke, neuromuscular disease (e.g. carpal tunnel, neuropathy, spinal cord disease), multiple sclerosis, autoimmune neurological diseases (Guillian Barre, myasthenia gravis, vasculitis , CIDP, etc.) as well as the more challenging diagnostic dilemmas.
Dr. Bell is board certified and recently re-certified in Neurology. He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology. In his free time he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife, daughter and numerous pets.
