Paula Cooper, Ph.D., ABN
Dr. Cooper specializes in both clinical psychology and neuropsychology. She is board certified through the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. She received her doctoral degree from California School of Professional Psychology – Fresno in 2004.  She has worked with a variety of adult and pediatric patient populations in hospital and outpatient settings providing cognitive assessments, neuropsychological evaluations, psychoeducational assessments, and psychotherapy.  She is skilled at working with individuals who have concurrent medical and psychological problems (e.g., chronic pain and depression) as well as those experiencing grief, emotional adjustment, or relationship difficulties.  

Dr. Cooper remains active in the field of psychology and has served as President for the Lower West Coast chapter of the Florida Psychological Association, Member-at-Large for the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology (two terms), and Chair Committee Woman for the Academy of the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. She also remains active in community and has volunteered with the American Red Cross following Hurricane Katrina. She also volunteered and ran the support group for CHADD (Children and Adults with ADHD) in Sarasota for 6 years prior to having her own children. She now spends time volunteering at their school.
